Point Guidelines

Outstanding Leadership Awards are given to all members earning the required points. In order to receive awards at the chapter level, members must earn points in the following areas. The outstanding Leadership Award also entitles the member to attend the State FFA Convention in the summer. A total of 250 points must be accumulated. Good Luck in acheiving this prestigious award!

Chapter Activities

Chapter Meetings                  10 pts. per Meeting (Double @ X-mas)

Farm Workdays, Cleanups       5 pts. per hour

Ag Mech. Projects (limit 4)   10 pts.  @ WCYF, 15 pts. @ HLSR

Show Projects (limit 4)          10 pts. @ WCYF, 15 pts. @ Major Show

Fair Fund Serving Line        15 pts. per activity

Fair Fund Auction Item        15 pts. per item

Sales

Meat and Fruit Sale              3 pts. per item

Concession Stand                10 pts. per game, limit 3 per game (family)

Other Fundraising                  5 pts. per hour

Leadership

Leadership points are awarded as follows:

Chapter Level                     5 pts.

District Level                     15 pts  

Invitational Judging           10 pts

Area Level                         20 pts

State Level                        25 pts

National Level                   30 pts

Sweepstakes Award           25 pts.
